Hello there again, here is a little extract from a current work-in-progress. Yes it is a little on the dark side, just put that down to too many late nights and eating cheese close to bedtime.

‘What kind of man are you Principal, to sit in judgement on us all?’ enquired Arkady, politely.
Arkady leant casually on the lectern as he gazed down from his position on the raised dais across the polished marble floor of the Academy to where the Principal was. Vasili had forced the old man down onto his knees and held him there, one hand gripping the Principal’s fine white hair and pulling back his head to expose his throat, the escaped convict holding a knife to the old man’s neck.
Arkady watched as blood dripped from the tip of Vasili’s blade down onto the marble tiles of the floor …
